Avloni Academy of Music offers a comprehensive piano program for students of all levels, starting at the age of 4. The program features one-on-one instruction, which allows for personalized attention and customized lesson plans tailored to each student's individual needs and goals. The length of each lesson can be selected from 30, 45, or 60 minutes, providing flexibility for each student's schedule.

In Avloni, we use a variety of textbooks, including the Faber Piano Adventure, Bastien Piano Basics, and other Faber series, to cater to students of different skill levels, from beginners to intermediate players. These books provide a structured curriculum that allows students to progress and develop their skills in a systematic and effective manner. The customized program and personalized instruction, combined with the use of these well-respected textbooks, ensure that students receive high-quality music education at Avloni Academy of Music.

 

Beginner

Featuring a ½ hour lesson each week including proper piano technique, music theory, and developing basic repertoire.

  1. Cultivate music interest & joy of playing piano.

  2. Leaning basic notes, rhythm, and dynamics.

  3. Being able to play simple songs such as Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, Jingle Bell, Yankee Doodle, etc. Intermediate

Intermediate

For those who have learned piano for a couple of years.

  1. Developing comprehensive technique.

  2. Introducing ear training, and playing strategies.

  3. Complex music theory.

  4. Bing is able to play Hanon exercises, scales and arpeggios, sonatinas by Clementi, C.P.E Bach, Beethoven, etc.

  5. Music theory test, ABRSM(The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) exam may be involved.

Advanced

Exploring different approaches to support students as an artist.

  1. Ear training and listening.

  2. Cognition, pattern recognition, and intermediary drills.

  3. Improvisation

  4. Sight-reading

  5. Piano repertoire in different periods (Baroque, Classic, Romantic, 20th Century.
